Philosophy of Teaching
We believe in approaching His Word with deference and humility. We believe that His Word possesses both obvious and transparent truth to the casual observer and deep truth found by honest research and study. We believe that all truth merges into the Truth, Jesus, who is the Word. We believe that teaching should have a training and life change bent. We believe in teaching the entire counsel of God through verse by verse exposition and through thematic instruction.

Philosophy of Ministry
We believe that all believers are ministers. We believe the primary function of leadership is to serve with the purpose of equipping and facilitating the gifts God has placed in each of the members of the body.

We believe in servant motivated ministry - we believe in rejoicing in another's promotion. We believe in celebrating the life stages with one another in genuine community. We believe ministry should be simple. We believe ministry should be light yoked.

We believe that the power to be a witness for Christ comes from the Holy Spirit. We believe servant evangelism, mission trips and other evangelism events are wonderful opportunities to communicate the gospel to the lost. We also believe that each believer should be equipped to share the gospel in their every day sphere of influence.

Philosophy of Stewardship
We believe all funds given to the ministry for offerings and tithes are sacred. We believe they should be handled with complete transparency and with great care. We believe that as far as possible, the use of these funds should go directly to the actual work of the ministry.

We believe that our most cynical skeptic should be impressed with our stewardship.

We believe in giving locally to promulgate the gospel and meet the needs of the poor as the Holy Spirit leads. We believe in creative, life changing giving. We believe in giving internationally to promulgate the gospel of Christ. We believe in giving only through tested organizations, with which we have personal direct knowledge and involvement. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure the purpose of the gift is realized.
