Trailblazers - Children's Ministry
We call our children's ministry program Trailblazers! Kids from age 4 - 5th grade progress through the program in stages. They start as Scouts, then in 1st grade they move to Troopers, and finally when they reach 4th grade they become Explorers.
The Trailblazer program is designed to provide opportunities for parents to disciple their children and to promote an environment in which children are delighted to be in God's presence learning His ways. The kids enjoy time memorizing scripture, doing crafts, and listening to Bible teachings. The lessons are custom made to follow the prior week's adult teaching. This fosters great family discussions as parents can be actively involved in what their kids are learning.
As the kids progress through the program they are able to earn "rewards" such as backpacks, buttons, and other prizes for the completion of their class materials and scripture memorization.
